Grief & Loss

Grief is a universal experience, yet we often feel vulnerable in our ability to support bereaved families.  This session will present a basic understanding of working with grief and bereavement.  Participants will enhance learning around contemporary grief theories, healthy symptoms and experiences of grief and caring interventions.

This session presents an overview of grief, and would best meet the needs of families and/or professionals with little to no knowledge of, or experience, with this topic.

This session is presented by the Community Education Service of the Child & Adolescent Addiction, Mental Health & Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP) of AHS in partnership with ACH Children's Hospice & Palliative Care Service.

This FREE program will be presented via videoconference in the Meeting Room of the library.   No registration is required.
