Art Exhibitions

Calling all Artists and Photographers!

Are you a local artist or photographer who has always wanted to exhibit your work?  Look no further!  The Strathmore Municipal Library welcomes art exhibits from all artists (amateur or professional).

What space do you have available?

The Strathmore Municipal Library is pleased to provide a professional quality art exhibition space that spans 52' along the wall of the library!

How long can I exhibit my art in your library?

Generally, exhibits run for 1 month, but longer shows may be available upon request.

Does it cost anything to exhibit my art in your library?

No, we do not charge to exhibit your art in the library.  If a piece is for sale, the library requests a commission of 20% on any work sold during the exhibition, so prices should be adjusted accordingly.

What type of advertising will my exhibit receive?

The library will advertise the exhibit on their website and all social media accounts. We require a small biography about the artist and the exhibition that will go in the library newsletter and we will contact local media to cover the exhibition.

How do I get started?

Download the Art Exhibition Agreement (below) and contact Laura Henderson at the library to book your exhibit.

PLEASE NOTE: All pieces will be hung using the library's art hanging system.  In order to hang your work, each piece must have a claw bracket or ring on the back of piece.
