After school help for kids!
Book Buddies will resume in Fall 2024 and will begin the week of September 16 and end the week of November 25.
*No program the weeks of Sept. 30, Oct. 14, & Nov. 11.*
Does your child need extra reading support? We are here to help. Book Buddies provides FREE support for children who are experiencing reading difficulties or need help building their reading confidence. There will also be a few sessions for French Immersion readers.

Is there a charge for this service?
No, this service is completely free of charge. We recommend getting a library card so your child can check out books to continue reading on their own time.
How long are reading sessions?
20 minutes
Who will be working with my child?
Your child will be matched with a screened volunteer/staff member to assist them on their reading journey.
Can I drop in for reading time?
Unfortunately no. Please fill in the appointment form above and we will contact you to schedule an appointment that works for you and our reading volunteers/staff.
