Prospect's Skills for Success
The Strathmore Library is pleased to welcome clients from Prospect Now's Skills for Success Program as August's gallery artists.
The Skills for Success Program at Prospect Now helps unemployed or underemployed Albertans from the greater Strathmore area improve their skills in the following areas:
- Reading
- Writing
- Numeracy
- Digital
- Problem-solving
- Communication
- Collaboration
- Adaptability
- Creativity
- Innovation
Using art-based learning, participants engage in structured lessons to learn the Skills for Success and to move closer to the work force.
You will see various art forms in the gallery as there are 9 artists showcasing their work.
